Suzi Thomas has been a working artist for 20 years with 35 years of art experience and training. Painting the umbrellas started nearly 6 years ago and has been growing steadily from the beginning.
The hand painted umbrellas are 100% water repellent and the paints are professionally formulated to resist fading. These are pigment dense, exterior style paints combined with chemicals for flexibility, UV resistance, and preservatives for color longevity. While the paint itself is durable enough to last for years, she treats the canvas before she paints and she will finish each umbrella with 3-4 layers of heavy duty UV spray with an industrial sprayer. The art work is guaranteed for two years, however, the customer satisfaction indicates they are lasting up to 6 years.
The Umbrellas come in 5 sizes, unusual shapes, 3 canvas qualities, and 2 frame qualities, with tilt mechanism or without. With over 100 designs to choose from, there is still room to create your own design. Call Suzi directly to discuss your ideas and she will happily work WITH you to bring your ideas to life. Custom color matching and design creation adds no extra cost. However, if a custom work is returned there is a 15% restocking fee.

These prices are for standard umbrellas without tilt mechanism Add $20.00 for tilting umbrella. The price includes the painted canvas, umbrella frame and pole; but does not include the metal holding stand. You can choose a natural or light tan canvas for the design. 11' umbrella does not come with tilt option as it is too large to hold the weight. Any design can be ordered on any size or shape umbrella.
If you choose an all over painted design the prices vary from an additional 100.00 to 150.00. This is when the entire canvas umbrella is covered with painted design.
Speciality umbrella shapes Oval, Rectangle, Square, Cantilevered overhang, Suncrylic fabric, Sunbrella fabric, and upgraded frames are available and prices will depend on your requests. See "Lighted Umbrella" page for pricing on these

Umbrellas are painted as ordered and can take from 1 week to 4 weeks depending on umbrella season, availability and orders ahead of you. UPS ground is the shipping of choice but any shipping requests are considered.

The studio is located in California and shipping is available world wide. Umbrellas are shipped UPS ground starting at 18.00 and hats and handbags are shipped USPS starting at 7.50. Alternative shipping methods are available and are charged accordingly.
